As the world begins to look to
African women for leadership
like never before, let us build
relationships and celebrate our
city's own inspiring voices!

Kikumbatio means embrace in Swahili. To celebrate the last day of African American history month, I bought three tickets to Kikumbatio--a Portland event hosted by World Pulse magazine. On March 15 it's time to connect really CONNECT with African and American women in Portland, Oregon. It's not every day you see a group deciding this is important. Thank you!! I'm inviting two of my closest friends. We've been doing a listening exchange lately and working on ending racism together. Thank you too!!!

If you can go, pick up a ticket. It's at the Interstate Firehouse which I know has space limitations. March 15 at 6:30 pm.
